Why Choose a Parent Intensive?
Finding time for weekly sessions while having busy schedules can be extremely difficult. Kids have extra curricular activities, both of you work full time jobs, dinners have to be made, not to mention trying to have time for each other and friends. How in the world would you find time to come for sessions in order to work through the parenting issues you're facing.
That's why I've come up with Parent Intensives
How it Works
It's you, your spouse and April. It's 4 hours long (the equivalent to a whole month of therapy put into 1 day). This is a time for us to brainstorm what parenting techniques can work for your family dynamic and which ones haven't worked or haven't been implemented well. Not only is this a time to discuss how you parent, where you and your spouse agree/disagree regarding parenting, but also, how each of you were parented and is that influencing these disagreements/issues around parenting.

It's only offered one Friday or Saturday every month. You will need to check with April to see which day is available that month or if it has already been booked.
Insurance
Insurance does not cover Parent Intensives. This is because insurance requires a diagnosis in order to reimburse for sessions. During parent intensives, April is not assessing or diagnosing you. You are coming for parenting issues, which is not a diagnosable disorder.
The fee for the intensive is $800 if paid in full at time of the booking. If you choose to pay later, it is $899. However, the intensive must be paid within 48 hours of your booking.
There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 due at the time of booking. This deposit is included in the prices above.
